HETI Headlines January 2026

Hi subscriber,
Welcome to the first newsletter of 2026! We're excited to have started the year with a bang by hosting our first multi-lingual webinar of the year. Our webinar, from founder and a long-standing leader of the Latvian Para-dressage team, Daria Tikhomirova, was delivered in English and Russian. We plan to have a number of multi-lingual webinars this year so that we can reach more practitioners and spread better awareness and practice globally.

We also had a fantastic 2 hour discussion on equine welfare and ethics at our recent HETI Live meeting. This is always a fascinating, essential topic and brought a lot of great questions, honest experiences and deeper exploration. From this meeting and the previous one held in November, we will be creating a summary of the discussion and using it to assist us in the further development of the HETI Ethical Guidelines.
