Hi subscriber,
Welcome to the March issue of the HETI Headlines! It's been a busy month of connections and presentations, especially for HETI President, Vera Lantelme-Faisan who presented virtually at a conference in Columbia and Croatia.

We also held our 5th meeting of the Latin America Network which is continuing to grow with over 200 people registered to it. All of the meeting recordings can be accessed through our youtube channel.

We also had a fantastic HETI Live meeting where we discussed the upcoming HHRF conference organised in collaboration with HETI and the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. The conference will take place on 19–20 September 2026 in Prague, Czech Republic, and will bring together researchers and professionals interested in Equine Assisted Services, equine–human interaction, and research in the field. You can watch the recording for the HETI Live here.

We're also excited to share that the 2026 HETI Journal: International Research and Practice articles are now available FOR FREE on our website! If you're a HETI member, you can access them through the member's area of our website, or if you're not a member, you can download them from our store. A huge well done to the author's of the papers and to the editorial team for publishing another great journal. You can purchase a hard copy of the HETI Journal through Amazon.

This month also saw the establishment of our Balkan Region network. The first meeting was held on 26th March. This meeting, facilitated by Alexandra Stergiou (Greece) and Prof. Selcuk Akpinar (Turkiye), brought practitioners from all over the Balkan region to connect and discuss EAS in the region. If you would like to join the next meeting, please register here.
