Gul is a busy centre providing Equine Assisted Learning for primarily young people with additional needs. The role will be based primarily from our beautiful 20 acre site in Shrewton but some off site working opportunities may be possible.
The role responsibilities will include working directly under the Yard Manager and alongside senior staff and volunteers to deliver riding coaching and stable management sessions, enable positive experiences for Gul’s beneficiaries and maintain a high professional standard.
A successful candidate will have good communication skills, be able to work closely with a multi-disciplinary team, supervising young people and adults with additional needs in a busy outdoor environment. It is expected that the candidate will be experienced in maintaining the welfare of horses and be able to coach to a minimum Equine Coaching Certificate level 1 or BHS stage 2, standard.

Salary: depending on qualifications £8.21+/ hr, hours available 25 hours per week upward.
