Marilyn Sokolof and Gisela Heimsath Rhodes are excited to announce the presentation of “The Interface Between Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Equine Assisted Learning” at Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center in Loxahatchee, Florida. The two-day workshop is scheduled for February 20-21, 2026, 9:00am-5:00pm.

This workshop is co-sponsored by Florida Psychological Association which awards 16 hours of continuing education credit for mental health providers. 16 hours of credit also applies to continuing education requirements for horse professionals.

Included in each day will be classroom PowerPoint and discussion, and goal-oriented activities with equines. The EAP activities will be unmounted, but there will be opportunity for some of you to be mounted for the Interactive Vaulting activities.

If you haven’t been there, the Vinceremos facility, staff and (!) horses provide for an exceptional learning experience. Lunch, coffee/tea, snacks are provided.

Based on past workshop feedback, the week-end will be informative and fun.
