What is our webinar about?
People may tell you all sorts of things about horses or try to sell you various methods and techniques; you will naturally find some professionals more likable than others and view some riders as more skilled than their peers- and everyone has their own idols... but nothing is more truthful than the horse's own opinion. A horse's health and well-being should never depend on personal preferences, passing trends, or individual opinions. That is why, whenever we have a doubt, we should look at the horse - look sincerely into its face - and ask how it is feeling and what it thinks. A horse's face reveals its state and emotions. It is true that we aren't accustomed to listening to them, and we often fail to understand them simply because no one explained the fundamentals of non-verbal communication to us when we first learned to ride... But don't worry - it is never too late to learn. That is why we are offering this Webinar on Horse’s Facial Expressions, designed to help you identify horses' facial expressions and the objective signals they provide. Lina began exploring the world of equine facial expressions over six years ago through research that led her to identify the "horse smile"—building upon the work of Karina B. Gleerup, who had previously identified the facial expression associated with pain. If you’d like to know more... we look forward to seeing you there! 😊
