When a person shows disturbance in balance, it means
that he is incapable of keeping the conscious orientation
of the body in space. This disturbance is a result of abnormalities on afferent stimulation of the integration of these stimuli to the cerebral trunk or the cerebellum. This provokes an abnormal sensory input producing a cycle, repetition of abnormal movements and postures-deficit of tonic adjustments.
