TERMINOLOGY

The world of Equine Assisted Services (EAS) spans numerous languages, cultures and geographies. For us to have meaningful discussions and learn from each other, it is crucial that we have shared language or at least an understanding of the way language is used in different locations and contexts.

In our sector there have been many attempts to define EAS terms and practices, but none have met with global success. HETI works with members to find consensus where we can, and to devise creative solutions to describe the diversity of practice.

Consensus of Terms

HETI Worldwide Service Provider Matrix
