As an equine assisted practitioner, your equine team is at the heart of your practice, whether you offer equine assisted learning or therapies.

Come and join our friendly, expert Equine Specialists and rescued equines for a CPD day to top up your equine skills based on the latest equine welfare practices, with plenty of time for observation, practice and discussion on:

• Ethical equine handling and training using LIMA principles
• Equine learning theory update
• The equine partner’s choice in sessions, including to leave a session
• Varying the equine partner’s activities
• Equine assessment and record keeping
• Updates on Codes of Practice within the Equine Assisted Services sector

Our approach is informed by the rehabilitation and training pathway for all equines at the Mare and Foal Sanctuary, which is based on equine behavioural science and designed by our specialist equine behavioural training and care teams.
