Mental Health First Aid Course (online)

This course will provide you with the knowledge to identify suspected mental health conditions and the skills to start a conversation surrounding mental health.   You will also learn about the first aid action plan for mental health and know how to implement a positive mental health culture in the organisation where you work or volunteer.

Training is delivered on a one day programme and a home study booklet is provided for revision.  Early booking is recommended so that study materials can be posted before the course begins.  Assessment for this award is through a one to one professional discussion (lasting 30-60 minutes).  Individual assessments must take place within 3 weeks of the training.
