Equine Therapy Training in Scotland and the Lakes!

Adding horses into your life and work provides new avenues for healing, learning and growth – for you and those you work with!

You can incorporate horses into many different approaches and professions to help your clients feel safe, engage in your services, learn new skills, and find new paths to healing and growth.

Attend this one day professional training, with optional additional online training, and explore how to:

• incorporate horses into your work safely and ethically;

• partner with equines as sentient beings;

• bring yourself and your clients to a more regulated state, through and for an equine supported approach;

• create and work within the triad of the client – equine – facilitator relationship;

• apply human and equine neuroscience and attachment theory to working safely with horses;

• differentiate between approaches to working, training and certifying in the field and determine which is the best fit for you.

This small group experiential training also provides you with:

• respectful and gentle interactions with horses, for you to personally witness and experience the power of this work;

• time for your questions, reflections and learnings within a supportive small group and directly with your trainer;

• a plan for what comes next – your mission, vision, scope of practice and next steps;

• your first step towards recognised certification in the field.

Whether you already work with horses, admire them from afar or are simply curious about the opportunities, come explore the healing power of horses and harness this for yourself, your practice and your clients. No prior experience is required.

Cost:

Early bird rate £195 if you register and pay by August 15th 2023 / regular rate £225. Option to add online component at a reduced rate.
