Healing Hooves – Introduction to Equine Assisted Wellness Services
April 5th Training workshop
During this small group workshop you will explore:
-Different approaches to training, certifying and practicing
-How to practice safely and ethically
-Partnering with equines as sentient beings
-Regulation strategies for self, clients and equines
-Hands on exercises with the horses
-A trauma informed approach grounded in attachment theory, equine and human neuroscience
You will also gain access to ongoing support and resources from international leaders in the field
You can integrate horses into many different approaches and professions to help those you work with feel safe with you, engage in your services, learn new skills, and find new paths to healing and growth.
If you want to help people develop healthy relationships, expression emotions in a healthy way, communicate more effectively, build resilience and recover from loss, setback or trauma – an equine facilitated approach could provide a way through.
Whether you already work with horses, admire them from afar or are simply curious about what this might mean for you, this is your opportunity to explore the healing power of horses and to harness this for yourself, your work and your clients.
