(ONLINE) INTRODUCTION TO EQUINE FACILITATED LEARNING (3X 2HR WORKSHOPS) FEBRUARY – MARCH 2022

A series of 3 two hour workshops providing an Introduction to Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL). This course is suitable for; practicing coaches, therapists, counsellors, educators,  or youth workers  who want to learn how to safely and effectively develop social and emotional competencies through non-riding activities with horses.  EFL is an especially useful addition to income generating activities at any RDA or BHS centre unable to offer horse riding due to social distancing restrictions.  The cost is £75 and participants will receive an Equi-Scotia CIC certificate of attendance.

For those wishing to become fully trained EFL practitioners, able to deliver a wider range of developmental activities, there is an opportunity to progress from the Intro course to apply to study towards a new qualification SCQF credit rated by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).
