Aims and Scope

Official journal of the Federation of Horses in Education and Therapy International A.I.S.B.L. (HETI).

HETI Journal: International Research and Practice was created in 1994. It is the official publication of The Federation of Horses in Education and Therapy International and a reference for most Societies in Equine Assisted Services internationally. The journal’s focus is to advance knowledge about Equine Assisted Services, and to bring researchers and clinicians authoritative information on the educational and therapeutic contribution of equine behavior and motion in providing comprehensive care for individuals. 

The publication is released once a year. The journal publishes Original articles, Reviews, Study Protocols, Clinical Cases (case studies) and Theory and Practice of special interest after having been reviewed by a double-blind review process. The journal is published in the English language and is available to HETI members free of charge. There are no fees for authors. Non HETI members may purchase articles from the HETI website https://hetifederation.org/product/heti-journal-2023/. There are no open access options at the moment.
